Automatic gluing equipment on plywood jointing line

We have delivered to our customer in the Baltic countries the automatic gluing equipment related to the plywood jointing line. The manufacturing, delivery and installation of the equipment took place in the first half of 2021.

Before delivery, the gluing on the jointing line was done manually by the operator, which was slow and caused that the quality was not stable but varied depending on the operator. Thanks to the new equipment, the process is faster, more controllable, and the quality is consistent. In addition, the amount of manual work on the line could be reduced.

The delivery included stack conveyors, a positioning conveyor, a vacuum lifter used to move the plate through the gluing unit, a crossing conveyor, and safety system around the area. Manufacturing, delivery, and installation went according to the planned schedule.
