Laminating line Modernization Metsä Wood Punkaharju

During the summer of 2024, MaNiTek will complete the modernization of the laminating line at Metsä Wood's Punkaharju factory. The modernization includes renewing the entire line's electrical automation, new laminating equipment, and raising the safety level of the entire line to meet today's requirements.

The new laminating machinery is manufactured and tested entirely at our factory in Kuopio, and its factory testing is ahead during May-June. The new equipment will make the customer's production process more efficient, as well as reduce material waste thanks to its laminating accuracy. 

Modernization of automation and electrification includes completely new control and logic centers, renewal of field equipment and cabling, as well as programming and commissioning work.
