Automatic Gluing for Plywood Jointing Line

We delivered an automatic gluing solution integrated into a plywood jointing line for our customer in the Baltic region. The objective of the project was to automate the previously manual gluing process and improve the efficiency of the production line.

In the solution delivered by MaNiTek, 1-component PUR adhesive is automatically applied to the joint area of the plywood panel. After the adhesive application, the panel is transferred via a positioning table to the jointing press.

Our delivery included stack conveyors, an infeed vacuum lifter, a panel centering system, automatic gluing equipment, and the required conveyors. The complete solution was integrated into the customer's existing production line.

The automation reduced manual work, improved line productivity, and significantly reduced adhesive waste. At the same time, the solution enabled more consistent and controlled adhesive application at the panel joints, resulting in improved final product quality.
