Electrical and Automation Modernization of a Hot Press Line

We carried out a complete modernization of the electrical and automation systems of our customer's existing hot press line. The objective of the project was to replace the aging automation system, improve line reliability, and ensure the availability of spare parts well into the future.

As part of the modernization, the line's electrical cabinets were completely replaced. Field cabling, sensors, and control panels were also upgraded to meet current requirements. The existing PLC system was replaced with a new Siemens system, and the control software was completely reprogrammed.

The comprehensive modernization improved the reliability and maintainability of the production line while ensuring the availability of spare parts for the automation components for years to come.
