Machine Vision Application for Veneer Patching Line

We delivered and commissioned a machine vision application for a veneer patching line in early 2025. The final destination of the production line is in Spain.

MaNiTek's machine vision application automatically inspects the veneers and detects quality defects. Based on the detected defects, the system determines the veneer quality grade and generates the required patching instructions for the subsequent stages of the production line.

The application can be configured according to the customer's production requirements with different quality grades and patching instructions. This allows the system to be adapted to different products and quality requirements.

The machine vision application is suitable for processing several wood species. On this particular line, the system processes birch, poplar, pine, and eucalyptus veneers.
