Laminate Cutting Line

We designed, manufactured, and delivered the first sheet cutting line in MaNiTek's history. The customer-specific line enables roll materials to be cut into sheets directly at the customer's own production facility.

The line can process a variety of materials, including plastics (PPL, ABS, and TPO), aluminium, and fiberglass-coated materials. The material is unwound from the roll, trimmed to the required width when necessary, and cut to the specified sheet length. The finished sheets are automatically stacked into predefined stack sizes and transferred forward from the line.

With the new line, the customer can produce the required sheet-form coating materials in-house instead of outsourcing the cutting process. The flexible solution is suitable for both small batches of only a few sheets and longer production runs.

The delivery also included a machine vision system for measuring the dimensions of the cut sheets. The system alerts the operator if a cut sheet does not meet the specified dimensional tolerances.
