Delivery of an Overlaying Machine

In summer 2025, we delivered a new overlaying machine to our customer in the Baltic region. The equipment was integrated into the customer's existing overlaying line, replacing the line's previous overlaying machine.

At the beginning of the project, the interfaces between the new equipment and the existing production line were carefully defined together with the customer. Detailed engineering ensured smooth integration of the new equipment and successful commissioning. The equipment underwent factory acceptance testing at MaNiTek's facilities in Kuopio before delivery to the customer.

The new overlaying machine is designed to handle a wide range of panel sizes, from 1,500 × 3,050 mm up to 2,250 × 6,150 mm. The machine can apply 1–3 layers of overlay material per side, with phenolic and melamine films used as the overlay materials.

The new equipment also significantly improved the operational safety of the customer's overlaying line, as the safety systems around the overlaying machine and its surrounding area were upgraded as part of the delivery.
